This Weekends Racing Guide
There is quite a bit of racing action this weekend for you to catch.
You can see Racing News Digests complete schedules here. Or look in the side bar off to the right here.
NASCAR
NASCAR Camping World Truck Series kicks off the weekend at Texas Motor Speedway. Coverage is at 8:30 pm tonight on SPEED.
Saturday will see the Nationwide clan at Nashville Superspeedway at 7pm on ESPN 2.
Saturday also brings us the Camping World East and West Series racing. The East Series will be at Watkins Glen International while the West Series is at Douglas County Speedway in Roseburg, OR.
NASCAR’s Canadian Tire Series will also be racing Saturday in their second event of the year. They will be at Delaware Speedway.
Sunday we have the Cup crew at Pocono Raceway with coverage at 12:30 pm EST. This will be the first week in 2009 that TNT will be bringing us the race.
Of course we have no way of watching the either one of the Camping World East or West races along with the Canadian Tire Series race. Get with the program NASCAR. WebCast!!
USAC
The USAC Sprint Car Series will be racing Saturday at Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, PA. USAC will probably provide live timing but I don’t think they are providing a webcast for this weekends race.
World Of Outlaws
World Of Outlaws will be racing Saturday and Sunday at Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg, IN. Check out the World Of Outlaws website. Generally speaking if you pay a fee you can watch their races on a webcast.
ARCA
The ARCA gang is also at Pocono Raceway this weekend and will be racing before NASCAR’s Nationwide series on Saturday. The race starts at 1pm but will be on tape delay on SPEED Saturday at 5pm. That makes sense.
I don’t know if they will be doing a webcast of the race or not. I don’t think so but it would be worth checking out their site http://arcaracing.com to find out.
INDY
We’ll finish up with the INDY series. They are at Texas Motor Speedway tomorrow at 9pm on Versus. Or if you sign up over there you can watch via their INDY Car Race Control. Pretty cool. Check it out. http://www.indycar.com/racecontrol/
