Denny Hamlin Makes Good On Promise To Get Brad Keselowski

While the spin was nothing spectacular. I thought that Denny Hamlin making good on his promise to Brad Keselowski was pretty cool. It speaks to Denny Hamlin’s character I think.

And kudo’s to Brad Keselowski. He did a great job of saving his car. It was pretty good spin really. 2 360’s right down the middle of the track.

Now do I condone this type of racing. Hell yes I do. i am not a Hamlin or Keselowski fan but I love seeing the rivalries. I know the nay sayers will say that Hamlin could have caused damage to other cars or even injured himself or Brad in the process.

Here is what the guys had to say about it.

Keselowski declined to exacerbate the friction between the drivers after the race.

“I don’t hold any grudges, and I’m ready to move on,” he said.

Hamlin, on the other hand, doesn’t think the drivers are even yet.

“I feel great right now — it was well worth it,” Hamlin said of the penalty. “…The scales are tipped a little bit more in my favor, but they’re not tipped that much.”

Denny Hamlin and Brad Keselowski have been having a little rift going on and it came to head last week when in my opinion Bard repaid Denny. Denny bumped Brad out of the way in a corner and Brad repaid the favor on the next corner. Difference? Denny did not spin out Brad but Brad did spin Denny repaying the favor.

Brad and NASCAR got together later in the week and had a discussion. From my understanding NASCAR did not tell him to knock it off which I commend them for. They did however tell him or remind him that he is going to be racing with a lot of these guys for years to come. And while he is pretty new on the scene, he is going to need friends one day.
